SpaPure Multi Shock Extra

Important: Do not mix SpaPure Multi Shock Extra with other products in any container. Always ensure your pump and filter are operational during application for optimal distribution and water circulation. Evenly sprinkle SpaPure Multi Shock over the water surface and apply only when the spa or hot tub is inactive. To avoid possible damage to spa surfaces, use a pool brush to disperse any granules that settle at the bottom. Avoid leaving undissolved product in direct contact with surfaces. Check chlorine levels before re-entering the spa; ensure they are between 1 and 3 ppm. Reentry is not recommended if chlorine levels exceed 3 ppm due to potential health risks.

Routine Spa and Hot Tub Disinfection:

• Balance spa water pH to fall between 7.2 and 7.6.
• As the primary disinfectant, add 4 teaspoons or ½ ounce of SpaPure Multi Shock Extra per 500 gallons of water to reach a chlorine level between 1-3 ppm.
• Circulate water for 5-10 minutes to ensure thorough mixing.
• Regular testing is vital; maintain a consistent free chlorine level of 1-3 ppm for safe usage. Do not allow it to drop below 1 ppm.

Shock Treatment (Superchlorination):

• For residential spas, incorporate 4 tablespoons or 2 ounces of SpaPure Multi Shock Extra per 500 gallons weekly.
• Spas with heavy usage may require more frequent application.
• After treatment, ensure the chlorine level falls below 3 ppm before resuming spa use.
