2. pH Level Optimization: For optimal effectiveness, adjust the spa water pH to 7.2-7.6 before adding the SpaPure Brominating Tabs.
3. Initial Dosage: When filling your spa or hot tub for the first time, add sodium bromide as per the label's instructions to establish a bromine residual of 2-4 ppm.
4. Regular Maintenance: Regularly check your bromine feeder to ensure it consistently releases SpaPure Brominating Tabs into the water. Add more tabs as needed to keep the bromine residual steady.
5. Routine Water Change: To maintain crystal clear water quality, replace the spa water every 60-90 days for residential use. For commercial spas, change the water every 3 to 5 days.
6. Safe Re-Entry: Do not enter the spa or hot tub until the bromine residual is at or below 4 ppm, verified with a bromine test kit.
