Instructions

1. Adjust pH: Ensure the pH level is between 7.2 and 7.8.
2. Chlorinate: Raise the Free Available Chlorine (FAC) to 1 ppm using a chlorine shock, following the manufacturer's directions.
3. Stabilize: Add cyanuric acid stabilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Installing the Frog Pac:

1. Remove the cap from the Pool Frog Chlorine Cycler.
2. Take off the colored caps from the Frog Pac.
3. Hold the Frog Pac with the open end facing down and insert it into the Pool Frog Chlorine Cycler.
4. Align the pac with the key inside the Cycler at the bottom. Do not force it.
5. Replace the cap and set the control dial based on your pool’s size and pump run time, using the chart in the manual.
6. Monitor the chlorine level daily during the first week to find the correct dial setting.
7. Adjust the dial by one setting per day until you reach at least 0.5 ppm chlorine. Do not enter the pool until the chlorine level is at least 0.5 ppm.

Maintenance:

• Once you determine the proper setting, it should not need adjustment under normal conditions. Adjust the dial if conditions change (e.g., weather, pool usage).
• Superchlorinate: If needed, turn the control dial to "Minimum" or "Setting 0" before superchlorinating. Return the dial to the normal setting after achieving the desired chlorine level.
• Regularly check the Frog Pac and replace it when empty. Do not open, refill, or reuse the Frog Pac.
