Replacing a Pool Frog Mineral Reservoir, Frog Bam, and Bac Pac:

1. Check Compatibility: Ensure you have the correct Pool Frog Mineral Reservoir for your system (in-ground vs. aboveground).
2. Turn Off Pump: Set the dial to "Pac Removal" or "Setting 0."

• Mark Calendar: Replace the Pool Frog Mineral Reservoir every 6 months, Frog Bam every 90 days, and the Bac Pac as needed.
• Handle Safely: Avoid sparks, open flames, or smoking when handling the Bac Pac.

Start-Up and Operation:

1. Add Stabilizer: If stabilizer is below 20 ppm, add it to prevent chlorine burn-off.
2. Shock Pool: Use chlorine shock to eliminate contaminants (do not add near the skimmer or cycler).
3. Install Reservoir: Insert the Pool Frog Mineral Reservoir into the cycler, replace the cap, and run on "Maximum" or "Setting 10" for 10 minutes.
4. Add Frog Bam: Insert it into the reservoir in the cycler.
5. Monitor Chlorine: Once chlorine is at 1 ppm, insert the Bac Pac.
6. Set Control Dial: Match the dial setting to your pool’s parameters.
7. Test Water: Test daily for the first week, then weekly throughout the season.
