Pool Frog Bac Pac

Instructions

1. Adjust pH Level: Ensure the pool's pH level is between 7.2 and 7.8.
2. Chlorinate: Raise the free available chlorine level to 1 ppm using a chlorine shock.
3. Stabilize: Add cyanuric acid stabilizer to the pool.

Installing the Bac Pac:

1. Remove the cap from the Pool Frog Cycler.
2. Take off the colored caps from the Bac Pac.
3. Hold the Bac Pac with the open end facing down, and insert it into the Pool Frog Mineral Reservoir.
4. Align the Bac Pac with the key inside the Pool Frog Cycler at the bottom. Do not force it.
5. Replace the Cycler cap and set the control dial according to your pool’s size and pump run time using the chart provided in the manual.
6. Monitor the chlorine level daily during the first week to find the correct dial setting.
7. Adjust the dial by one setting per day until you reach a free available chlorine level of at least 0.5 ppm.
8. Once the correct setting is determined, you should not need to adjust it under normal conditions. However, if conditions change (e.g., weather, rain, pool usage), you can easily adjust the dial to increase or decrease chlorine output.

Superchlorination:

• If needed, superchlorinate the pool.
• Before superchlorinating, turn the control dial to the minimum or zero setting.
• After achieving the desired free available chlorine level, return the control dial to the normal operating setting.

Maintenance:

• Periodically check the Bac Pac and replace it when empty.
• Do not attempt to open, refill, or reuse the Bac Pac.
