The Pentair 356210S is the 5/8" mechanical shaft seal that sits between the wet end and motor on IntelliFlo3 and IntelliPro3 VSF pumps, sealing the rotating shaft to keep water out of the motor housing.

Orient the seal with the ceramic side facing the impeller and the carbon side facing the motor, and use only water-based lubricant during installation, since petroleum-based grease can degrade the seal.
