This is Jack's Magic Power Blue Scale off- a robust solution designed specifically to remove calcium carbonate buildup and efflorescence. Power Blue Scale Off is effective at removing approximately 2-4 mils per application.
This product is meant for use above the water line. Do not pour Power Blue Scale Off into your pool (minor dripping from product application is OK).

Jack's Magic Power Blue Scale Off is applied at full strength (undiluted) by spraying it directly onto the waterline scale using a spray bottle set to a stream (not a mist). Each application can remove approximately 2–4 mils of calcium carbonate scale buildup, though the exact amount of product needed will depend on the thickness of the scale being treated.

Preparation
Make sure the tile, glass block, vinyl, or other surface is clean and completely dry before application. For very thick calcium deposits, it may help to first scrape off excess buildup with a commercial paint scraper on hard surfaces (to remove the bulk of the scale) before applying the product. It's also recommended to test the product on a small, inconspicuous area before full use, to ensure it does not affect the surface's appearance. Do not use Power Blue Scale Off on aluminum or marble surfaces, and avoid pouring it directly into the pool water (using it only above the waterline; minor drips during application are okay).
Application Steps
- Spray onto the scale: Using a trigger spray bottle set to a direct stream, apply Power Blue Scale Off full-strength onto the dry, affected surface at the waterline.
- Allow it to dissolve: The solution will immediately begin breaking down the calcium scale on contact. Give it a moment to penetrate and loosen the deposits.
- Brush the area: Use a brush or scrub pad to agitate the treated area, scrubbing off the loosened scale. If any scale remains, spray more product and continue brushing until the deposits are gone.
