When the system flips over, replace the SmartChlor Cartridge by twisting the two cartridges until the arrows align, then gently pull them apart. Drain any remaining water from the old SmartChlor Cartridge and give it a light shake to check if it's empty. Dispose of the cartridge according to the provided instructions, and replace it with a new SmartChlor Cartridge. If a small amount of chlorine remains in the old cartridge, do not discard or recycle it. Instead, place it in the hot tub to float independently until it is completely empty.
